Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Medical Oncologist

Professor Michael Michael is a Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Medical Oncologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac& Co-Chair of the Peter Mac, an European Neuroendocrine Tumour Society (ENETs) accredited NET Centre of Excellence, with over 2 decades of experience in the multidisciplinary management of NET patients. He is extensively involved with clinical/translational research programs focusing on NETs, including identification of novel blood borne biomarkers, development of novel combination therapies that enhance PRRT efficacy, the  evaluation of new systemic therapies, as well patient-based nutritional screening tools, and the evaluation of alternate models of community-based NET patient care.
