Dr Emma Boehm
Nuclear Medicine Physician
Dr Emma Boehm is a nuclear medicine fellow and endocrinologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She is in the final year of her PhD at the Rare Disease Oncogenomics Laboratory, led by A/Prof Richard Tothill, at the University of Melbourne. Emma’s PhD involves investigating novel genomic biomarkers for neuroendocrine tumours including circulating tumour DNA for diagnosis and surveillance of phaeochromocytoma and paraganglioma. Emma is passionate about precision diagnostics and the role that rational, high-value investigations can have to direct patients with neuroendocrine tumours to timely and effective treatments.
